Can the steer clear be mounted in any angle? (vertical or horizontal)

Yes- The product can be installed in any angle you prefer.

Is there any kind of steering system that the steer clear box can't or wont work with? and will the ratio change at all?

The Ratio will not change, due to Steer clear is an add on to the system and no parts are taken out.

Will Steer Clear cause any reaction to any system in the Vehicle?

No, As Steer clear is an add on and don't use any power or fluids... There is no maintenance to it and comes with a lifetime guarantee with purchase.

Is the steer clear box certified & street legal?

These steer clear box are the answer to many hot rodders and many others needs for more room. They have been used for years to give the needed steering clearance needed on modern day hot rods. The product received the product of the year award in 2006 and 2007 at SEMA. And for 19 years Steer clear wouldn't pass the NSRA tech requirements. But in July of 2025 steer clear drop box finally has been approved by the NSRA and their tech requirements.
