Steer Clear was one of more than 1,400 newly introduced products on display at the Specialty Equipment
Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, NV., when it was presented with two of the industries most
prestigious awards - The 2006 Best Engineered New Product Award Winner, and The 2006 Best New

For decades, custom car designers, builders, and owners have been limited and frustrated by one
of the industries most common problems - steering clearance.

This includes clearance problems encountered under the hood - limits on engine choice, fitting a
high performance engine & headers, clearance problems related to motor mounts, starter, and
header location, and safety concerns over extreme u-joint angles and binding - as well as clearance
problems found inside the vehicle - poor steering column location, limited foot & leg room, awkward
position & unnatural feel of the steering wheel and pedals, and all too often, an uncomfortable car.

Wizard Fabrication's Steer Clear offers you a complete solution to all of these issues - it provides
almost unlimited options for steering shaft clearance so a high performance engine and headers will
fit, and it allows you to safely reposition the steering column to increase legroom and improve comfort.

Steer Clear is sleek and compact. It takes
up a minimal amount of space and can be
mounted on either side of the firewall at
any angle necessary. The four reinforced
through-holes assure you a strong, secure
installation.

Steer Clear makes it possible to raise or
drop the steering shaft, move it over, or
change its angle, options that will increase
clearance so you can fit just about any
engine you choose.

Steer Clear is functional and designed to
work in addition to an existing steering
system. It is made using 3/4" 36 spline
input & output shafts and works with
commonly available u-joints, couplers,
vibration reducers, etc.

Steer Clear's design is detail-oriented and
perfectly proportioned - it blends in, looks
great, and looks like it belongs on any
vehicle that it's installed in.

Steer Clear is versatile. It can be used in
custom builds, street rods, newer vehicles,
offroad vehicles, jeeps, and water craft, etc

Steer Clear is available in five standard
lengths - 8", 10", 12", 14" & 16" (measured
input to output shaft), and it comes in either
a brushed (satin) finish or a polished finish.

Steer Clear makes it possible for you to
safely relocate the steering column. By
raising the column - so it comes out above
your feet instead of between them - you
create additional floor space and legroom
which improves driver comfort. And by
increasing usable floor space it's possible
to move the pedals and position them for
individual preference. Plus you can
reposition the steering wheel to give it a
more natural and comfortable feel.
