WIZARD FABRICATION

Wizard Fabrication is a family business that opened in Sacramento, California in
1990. It's owned and run by Dave who says he couldn't have done it without the
support and understanding of his daughter Lisa and his son Danny. Dave's brother
Mike handles the web site design and so much more, Tom, a hot rod builder and
collector, and a good friend, works as our sales rep, and Leslie works there as the
general manager.

The Wizard, Dave O'Connor, is an accomplished welder and fabricator with a
passion for old cars and 35 years of experience working on them. As an
experienced custom car builder with an extensive knowledge of hot rods, Dave
knows that problems relating to steering clearance are among the oldest and
most common. So he wasn't surprised when clearance problems arose as he was
building his own Hemi-powered, radical custom, 1929 Model A Tudor.

But on this particular build Dave was unwilling to compromise his vision or his
designs, unable to tolerate the problems, and not about to settle and just work
around the obstacles. In order to build the car he wanted he'd have to come up
with some way of eliminating the steering clearance problems altogether.

After building the first prototype, Dave spent the next 2 ½ years perfecting his
original design. Several different versions were built, tested, measured, and
retested.

In the end, all the work paid off.

style. The result is a product that gives you the perfect combination of form
and function.

Satisfied with the final design and convinced it was a product worth standing
behind, it was time to introduce Steer Clear to the public. And what better place
than at the Las Vegas SEMA Show? With a lot of support from family and the
help of good friends and close business associates, Dave, Mike, Tom & Leslie hit
the road. When Steer Clear made its debut at the November 2005 SEMA Show
it proved to be one of the hottest new products, and a big Show winner.

Steer Clear was designed to completely solve the steering clearance
problems that have frustrated and limited car builders for years. It
gives you almost unlimited options for steering shaft clearance, which
means you increase design possibilities, increase your engine choices
and options, improve safety, and improve the appearance of your
